Hong Kong Trip - Day 2

*Sneeze*
I woke up with a bad running nose :/ sucks B.F time.

Wanted to try Australia Diary Co :)
We thought we were early reaching ADC at 10am… but there was already a long trail of pile queuing at this hour.

This is how Hong Kongers stick their advertising banners on shop fronts.
Brush-Glue-Stick.
Wonder if they have to pay for the advertising spaces?
Finally after a good 30min wait.
I must say the guests were seated quite efficiently, hence the relatively short waiting time for a 40+pax queue. They just put us to share seats with other patrons. lol.
The most popular breakfast set @ HK$26 included:
Scramble Eggs + Butter Toast
Ham Macaroni Soup
Tea/Coffee

When it was served, we gave each other that 'that is what pple are queuing for the whole morning' look. Mediocre presentation…. till we tried the eggs and toast.
The scrambled eggs and toast were so good!!! This was the best scrambled eggs I'd ever eaten. I would queue for the eggs and toast for another 30min the next time. We also tried the signature milk pudding but wasn't really sold. Wanted the original but the waiter gave us the custard one.
So we tried. Hmm… a tad too sweet to my taste and too rich on its own esp after a hearty breakfast. Disappointing.

There was a noodle shop at the beginning of the street diagonal to Australia Diary Co called Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop 麥文記麵家 @ 51 Parkes Street. Didn't have space for another noodle soup but I guess I wana try this shop the next time I'm in HK. Haven't had enough of wanton noodles this trip.

We walked past Shamrock Hotel and I heard that there's a wholesale place to shop beside the hotel called Hanford Fashion Wholesale. We went via the lift to recce a few shops. The place was really small and Ad felt claustrophobic cos the alley was narrow and stuff was all squeezed on the racks and not very organized so we decided not to waste time on searching but adjourn to our next place - Prada Space.

We took the MTR to Central, bought some flu tabs at the Pharmacy and hopped on to a cab to the ULU Prada Space outlet, inaccessible by trains.

Manual transmission cabs
We were so lucky to see this wedding London Cab.
G'job bb for snapping this pic! So pretty :)
Came across this bizarre school name… It sounds gruesome :S
 "Precious Blood Primary School "
At last it felt like Christmas here in HK :)))))

Got my eyes on a couple of Prada bags.. but after much thought I decided not to buy cos' I seriously do not have so many pairs of hands. I don't need them :) Save $$$… to get a good solid Chanel better. Anyway I thought I quite like a Miu Miu pink small purse.
So I got it for SGD200. :)

Since there's another outlet store nearby, I suggested to go visit.
It's called Horizon Plaza. It has got 28 levels of branded factory outlet stores. We didn't have 3G/Wifi to access the map cos' it's quite accessible by walking approx 15-20min along the coast, so had to hop on to a cab for a 5min ride.

With 28 levels and limited time, I came up with a strategy to shop here cos' not all brands are appealing to us. So we marked down the specific floors with brands we want to recce, took the lift from the top level and walked down to the respective floors. We spent almost 4+ hours here seriously shopping esp at Armani Exchange. We got nothing. Cos' the selections not the rack were either outdated or NOT cheap or they not suitable for Singapore's weather. I was happy with Ad's decisions not to buy anything cos' we don't need them. It will be a bonus if we can really find something nice. In the end, I got myself a Juicy Couture Gelli Hp case at only SGD$10 (UP: SGD$65).

So we took a cab back to Central MTR.
The wind was SOOOOOOOOOO chilly, we almost frost while waiting for cab.
The wait was quite infuriating cos' there was hardly any cab for the fact we were the 3rd in the queue but had to wait for almost 40mins in the crazy weather.

Shopping continued at Central - Wellington Street with Y3.
Ad finally got his Y3 backpack at a 40% disc!
Famished and exhausted by 9+pm.
We settled down after a whole day of shopping.
Come to think of it, we only had morning's scrambled eggs breakfast at Australia Diary Co only.
Wanted to go to Yung Kee @ 32 Wellington for roast meat but settled @ Tsui Wah opposite instead, the char chan teng. Everything in Tsui Wah was super delicious. Wahaha… I had pork chop baked rice. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT YUMSSSS!!!
Ad had some omelette rice.
Good Samaritan @ Central :P
Supper (not mine cos' I don't eat supper…)
Hahaha. Someone is really going all out this trip.
Shuai really shuai ;)
Love the colors :)
