First trip to Bali. :)
Day 1 - Flying KLM
With the 2 latest MH flight accidents that took place, I did kinda feel paranoid when I took this pic to document the full board flight on our trip there.
Tadah…. the green curry chicken is so good. KLM beats Thai and even SQ hands down.
Caught Oblivion on flight and a little of The Family Guy cartoon. Love it!
Finally found the kind of american adult humor that tickles me. Tsk.
Finally after a 2+ hour flight , we reached Bali at around 8pm and the transport we've arranged for was already at the gate waiting for us :)
We've booked U Paasha after D's recommendation. It was $260+/night.
It was such a hassle that time when I was trying to book the hotel cos' someone's really fussy. Anyway… the room was HUGE and they've prepared a honeymoon room for us.
Finally moved our butt out of the room after the truckloads of photos snapped.
Crisp, Fresh and Sensational. That's how I'll describe Bintang at that moment.

Day 2 @ Laskmana, Seminyak

In Bali, you can see Revolver cafe in every few streets.

The sand is so fine, you'll see the sparkles of the minerals under light.

Was told it was usually crowded, so the best time to go is actually after the lunch crowd 2-ish… or before dinner 6pm.

SIGH. SO THIS IS THE END OF MY DAY 2.
Cos' we went back to the hotel @ 6pm supposedly to change to for our dinner @ Kudeta but I ended up having this random bad migraine + pain in the eye, I vomited bad that I almost d__d. Ad had to get panadol for me and I don't know why he didn't even have his dinner. He went to bed at 10+pm I remembered clearly cos' the pain was so intense, I had to apply medicated oil to distract myself, wake up to vomit and at 1point of time I was having breathing difficulties. I was tossing and turning so much for hours and I couldn't get to sleep. Ad whatsapped Dina just in case I couldn't make it for the wedding prep tomorrow.
Day 3 - Dawn's Wedding Day !
Thank God… I survived the night of the ordeal.
It was really bad. Now that I recall, it was kind of like the couple of times I had back then in Bangkok when I was with Iu and Chit.
Ordered in-room breakfast while Ad went for his buffet feast.
Yes it was really yummy :)
Don't think I ate a lot cos' everything was in small portion and considering my stomach was literally empty.
Way to Tanah Lot @ 10am, took our trusted cab brand Blue Bird in Coral Blue.
I think for every cab ride, I'd ask if they were using Meter before I hop onto one, just to play safe.
Finally reached Kailasha Villa at 11.30am bad traffic + half an hour of getting lost.
Luckily we stayed at Seminyak cos' Tanah Lot is quite ulu and hard to get by.
The wedding prep team and set up was massive.
Thanks ley Eve, the Chun Li character was easy to portray with the 2 Tissue Buns Erika did for me.
I must say my D.I.Y. wrist cuffs from shimmery cardboard + daiso deco tapes kinda worked too!

Grilled Jimbaran Fish + Catch Of The Day
It was good but I prefer more moist and tender fish like Cod. Ironically, my favourite was the bread not the fish. Overall, a great experience! Hope this would compensate the Kudeta miss out dinner the night before when I fell sick.
