My bkk accommodation - The Heritage Bangkok

Finally :))))

What I have been waiting for.

My 1st hotel for the two days.

The Heritage Bangkok

Just a walk down Exit 2 at BTS Chong Nonsi and The Heritage Bangkok hotel can be spotted cos' it's right in front of the station. So convenient! Fitted my criteria for this trip as I was looking for transport convenience as it rained everyday in bkk. I wouldn't want to walk in the rain or be trapped in a traffic jam on a cab. What makes it more attractive is the street food, 7-eleven, McDonald's (Yes!) and small side walk cafes that were right beside the hotel.  Seriously spoilt for choices. The room rate is relatively cheap too at $42 - $56 per night. The hotel bar is a hit…. I'll see working class people chilling out at the quiet bar every night.

I'd highly recommended this hotel if you are just putting up over night with a low budget, yet decent choice.

5. Near to Siam (3 stops to Siam Square, Siam Paragon)

Here comes the Negative Points :(

1. Odour from carpet.

2. My balcony door could not be locked. 

3. Cockroaches (in my 2nd room)

Apparently the recep told me most of the balcony doors have this problem. OMG…. Someone could just 'visit' me when I am showering, sleeping or out shopping. I wouldn't want that :( Even after the maintenance guy came to fix the door , it still can't be locked. So I asked for a room transfer which was accepted and offered amicably too. Thank God….

So…. I changed room.

This room seemed bigger. I think it's the Deluxe room @ Level 4 that came with a little washing area too. Glad I was free from the stale carpet. There was bedroom slippers in this room too. Nice...

I thought this room was better, I was really pleased… until I see this roach crawling in between the bed. So I used the menu file to hit it twice….. I thought it died so I went to take tissue to pick it up but when I came back, it was GONE. Yikes! I also saw a cockroach in the fridge like being trapped………… Luckily I'm not someone who fears cockroaches. Well I didn't ask for another room change cos' I doubt other rooms are that clean too n I was freaking tired. I just need a rest asap after all the hooha..….. 

I asked them to do a bigger bed for me :)

BTS is really near.
