Day 4 in Bkk :)

Met M n Keaw for bfast+lunch. 

Before that, I had to have my ไก่ปิ้ง @ Paragon. Roadside ones just don't taste as nice… it has been tested and proven already! Anyway, Som Tam Nua has a new outlet @ Siam Centre. 

Ok that's nice n conveee BUTTTT it is so commercialized now. I'm always a devil's advocate of shops getting too commercialized. I don't mind to travel n go through all odds just to have a taste of the food. Please don't make it so convenient for me! :( Just hate to see the authenticity die a natural death n that's sad. I'll always remember how Far East Plaza was my fav haunt during sec sch days n I'd always patronize 77th street which was a small, smokey little dark-litted shop selling rock and metallic fashion stuff…I'll always remember my friend cum 77th street's staff, Monkey, who's got body piercing all over him. GEEE those were the days I'd wear Metallica, Sacred Riek, baggy jeans with my weaved hair and stuff hahaha..so good to reminisce such times!… Anyway, SC has also became a little Singaporean Mall with all the homegrown brands having so much footprints there… Charles & Keith, Food Republic, Toast Box, Coffee Bean… มากไป :S

I get indigestion so I must avoid unless it's done by me! Yeah… I must do my Mango Sticky Rice again… I miss my own cooking. :(((((((

Pity my ditches were not here with me. It was a gd catchup! Glad LLL made it to "support" me too. So nice of her! Wing n Kerng r always playing such good host. :)

Anyway I had a cheeky thought of hanging out so I chatted with Iu…. blah blah blah… n decided I should go to Huay Kwang night market on Sun night myself (though it can be quite unsafe cos' the roads are quite dark alongside my hotel unless traveling in a group). After that fateful robbery incident I had years back had left such a great impact that I feel Thai is no longer 100% safe. Better to be safe than sorry….. but I didn't want to just spent the night in hotel packing up for my flight tmr morning… BORING. Glad I went over…. it was FUN :P

And so happy I finally found it เกี๊ยวไข่นกกระทา We have been hunting this snack down since Day 1. It's my fav street food snack. Ba made it fresh for me too so I can have it nice n warm…. LOVE :)

Happy as a bird. Contentment brings happiness.

Then I could't really sleep until 4am.

Forgot to bring my Sangsom to Swissotel . ARGH…..
