Good friend (of the pop sex) is hard to come by now.

It was out of pure favor that I helped a friend to do up his website n fix some problems on his FB page. I didn't think too much into gaining any credits or benefits in kind at all cos' it didn't have to cost me a single cent in the 1st place and he was quite frank in asking for my help to design some stuff for him too. He's nice n I'd very much categorize him into a Nice Friends For A Lifetime list, can I add 'FILIAL'? To think I would have thought that pure friendship existed cos' the trust has been built at work, I was wrong. Maybe I did a good job? Or I was too nice? Or was it the continuous communication we had with this work I produced that he's developed feelings for me?… Arrgghh…. Why there can't be true friendship between genders nowadays at this point of our lives…? Between a gal and a guy, there's always such a thin line drawn. If one becomes a little nicer than one should, one will cross this line and it'll either make or break the relationship called F-R-I-E-N-D. Naive, I am not. I guess my sincerity do not pay off very well this lifetime. "I had thought it through last night. ……. I wish u all the best. Take care".
Life is such.

So I've lost a friend.
Did I mention 'again'?
Maybe some of u may not even call this acquaintance as a friend.
I do.
I didn't lead him on, ey.

I guess this is another lesson that Life would wanna put across to me. It's not impossible but kinda rare to develop a true friendship of the same sex, let alone, between genders. Before I put GREED, LUST, LOVE n MONEY as reasons for why we are not getting true friends at this junction of our mid lives, I'm lucky enough to have a few great guy n gal friends who can last a lifetime. :)

On a random note,
A friend related to how one night he drank 8 glasses of Chivas n Martell neat on an empty stomach, was alcohol-intoxicated, head spun, vomited till there was blood everywhere and had to be admitted to the hospital. So, lesson learnt people, I'll say no more.
