Cowboys in Paradise

Photos on 17th Nov.
I know I'm gonna love the show tonight at The Arts House.

We went to catch the highly controversial film made by Singapore-based writer and director Amit Virmani on lives of the Bali 'Kuta Cowboys' who make a 'living' on the beaches of Bali by providing sexual comfort & service to female tourists (in particularly Caucasians & Japs cos' they're richer, more approachable and stressed out. lol) NOT for a fee i.e. Free of Charge.... but in turn, females as the more sentimental and emotional side of the human kind sympathise with their livelihood and give them $$$ for their daily stuff & even huge things like bikes, cars & houses. LOL

The turn-out was amazing...

We went for the 17 Nov 7.30pm screening and it was sold out. Luckily I booked the film 2 weeks ago if not I would have missed this film. Extra screenings on 18th.

The documentary was real and awesome. We were laughing to many of the scenes during those interviews with the Kuta Cowboys, their next of kin, a funny fortune teller, an editor and some 'clients' and females living in Bali with local boyfriends. IT was DAMN funny esp. experiences of Rudi, Roy & Wayan :P

They're not quite gigolos but beach boys (nice 6-pack bods, tanned, suave outlook) who works to attract these targetted female tourists to fall in love with them somehow... so they can get $$$, love in return, to get out of poverty. Easy Money to summarise it up.

Chilled & dinnered at Timbre (Library). They were so packed..... we've gotta sit by the bar :)

The yummy thin-crusted Duck Pizza

French Fries & Spicy Buffalo Wings. I like :)

Off to cheap KTV TC sing song at Bedok :)
