Last Sat, my grandpa 'Ah Gong' met up with an accident where a MPV knocked onto him while reversing... He left us on Friday around 5pm to join my most beloved and deeply missed, granny 'Ah Por'... He left us at the age of 83 (for Chinese calendar year +1).
So I have been terribly busy last and this week hopping by hospital visits and helping out at his wake which will end by Tuesday for his funeral. I have never known that we have so many distant relatives before until today where I saw heaps of them turning up at the wake to pay their respects to my Ah Gong. Loads of garlands, heaps of blankets every now & then. Somehow, this event has brought all of our families together during the family meeting and the preparation of the wake (folding the paper money, hanging blankets, serving the guests, etc, etc). There was just loads of catching up and updating that were even better than that during the Chinese New Year. ^^
I will definitely miss my Ah Gong like how I miss my Ah Por... My Ah Gong will always be remembered as the most STYLO, HANDSOME & RESPECTED Ah Gong in my entire life. R.I.P my dear Ah Gong.... we'll be missing U.
All helping to 'settle' this super long piece of blanket present.
It was too long that it has to tied from 1 end of the railing and U-turn at the other end to the other side.
