Friday... 19th feb
I'm blogging as I waited for my car to be serviced @ C&C for 13k.... Funny how I pushed myself to wake up at 7.30am today. Since last Sat which marks the start of the week's CNY break, I've been really doing my body a great favour waking up as late as I could... ^^ Anyway, I think as I age, I can't sleep that much as compared to those days when I could really laze in bed till 2pm and waste the whole day.... Now, i simply wake up when the sun starts to shine into my room as early as 8 or 9 on a non-working day, and I would just go wash up and get ready to go out and make full use of my time... this is so much healthier I guess. No wonder older pple don't need that much sleep.... cos' they all know time is running out for them. :) Just to document, I've caught two movies with Ad & friends.... TRUE LEGEND (My rating: 4.5/5) and VALENTINE'S DAY (My rating: 3/5)... and Roy has got himself a new gf named Carrie... Wonder if they're official... cos' they do behave like one haa.. but they weren't holding hands last night at the cinema... anyway don't think Roy has acknowledged it yet:)
I've got quite a pretty big angbao this year from Mum... She told me she gave a larger packet for me compared to Bro... I didn't really doubt her words cos' i did believe what she said was true. Haa.. like tio 4D.. Felt kinda guilty to receive such a big one too cos' I haven't been giving her $$$ for XX months (oops! paisey to even state it down). Thanks so much to my Bro who also contributed to the 2nd biggest angbao this year....my 3 angbaos from my own relatives (misearble right?) and ALL of Ad's family (20+ angbaos) for their generosity!... I can jolly well survive for the next month just on their red packets. I haven't even used up the ones they gave me last year. scary right... ^.^ I'm banking them all up.
Really wonder if my luck this year is good or bad... Played Ban-Luck (Blackjack) on 3 occassions this CNY, overall I won $20. haa... Maybe I need a couple more sessions.... I itch to play... so much so that I bumped into my bro's friend (Henry) last night, instead of wishing him Happy New Year, I asked him "So did U gamble this year?".. he replied, "No ley"... I then told him, "okok, I'll ask my bro to organise one this weekend!".. HAHAHAHA.... I think I'm getting crazy for gambling.... I played $10-$30 for blackjack @ Lynn's house...Thinking back now, it was really scary to have such a big bet...hee.. Luckily i don't know how to play Mahjong, otherwise, it'll be another killer addiction for me...
Damnit... it's almost 2pm... and my car is not ready yet .. HARLOW .... :(
Anyways.... am really looking forward to the next two days before I resume to work on Mon. So dreadful to even just think of it!!!! the only thing to keep me motivated now starting work, is to wear my new clothes which I have just bought... WOOT!! :)
