Choked on Fish Bone!

2nd Feb was supposed to be a happy occassion cos' its' my bro's 31st birthday. Mum bought chilli crab, cereal prawn, made pork ribs soup, steamed 2 fish and even got him a fresh fruit cake. We don't really eat together at the same table cos' we reach home @ diff timings. I ate 1st, then bro & sis, then mum.... We were catching our fav Korean drama on chl U... then we heard Mum coughing & trying to vomit @ the sink....

She's choked on the fish bone :'( Mum swallowed some rice, drank water... but still felt pain @ her throat but she claimed to have felt better after a while... Still very worried that she might be just covering up her pain, after much persuasion, mum agreed to visit the Dr. Her situation was worse than what we've thought, the Dr. wrote a letter of Ref for Mum to go for more checks with an X-ray @ the Changi Hospital's A&E.

She still told the Dr. "Today is my son's birthday & we've yet to cut the birthday cake"... Aiyo Mum... I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this.. Her throat has got this 3cm-long fish bone stuck in her food pipe & requires an op to extract it out.... Scary right?!... Feel so sad for her that she's gota endure the pain & discomfort. She's def gota be admitted. She's gonna go thru a few techniques before the op... As I was writing this post at 8.30am today 3rd Feb, the Op has started. Hope all is fine for her.
