Windscreen Smashed.

My windscreen shattered last Monday. I came back from JB @ 5pm to discover the 'patterned' marks at the rear windscreen. Our CUTE AD LEE told me it was dust ???!!!Apparently he didn't notice the rear, he tot I was referring to the front windscreen. BLEH!

When he saw the marks with his own eyes, he called out to me FRANTICALLY (I was in his car). Shock was my first reaction. Some pieces of glass fell at its sides but the whole piece was still intact. I found a 3cm size rock at the rear windscreen. This should be the EVIDENCE. Then when I opened the door to put my stuff & closed it back, the glass shattered!

I think I was rather calm despite the unfortunate incident. I could have whined / swore @ whoever the culprit that came to my mind but I didn't la... I called the police to come & spent the rest of the time calling & coordinating with my workshop & the insurance co... luckily they helped to arrange for a tow (which I didn't use cos' of the time I gota wait) and the authorised workshop. My car did attracted lots of onlookers & neighbours whom Ad did warn them about my case.. After much speculation & analysis, we concluded that the cuprit has to be the Grass Cutter! Cos' the fresh grass smell was overwhelming, grass had splattered at my rear bumper & only the impact of the cutter could cause such damage to my windscreen.

So I called up the Town Council where they referred me to the Grass Cutting Contractor. Luckily without any difficulty, I got compensated for everything + loss of use 2 days for $387. :) Si Beh Heng *V* !
