My Birthday - Part 3 (with BB @ Catalunya Singapore)

Chanced upon Catalunya when we did our jumps. ^^

Now that it has been 4 days since I've last been to Catalunya @ Fullerton,

though I wasn't blown away by the food, and all when I was there,

I'm reminiscing everything about Catalunya after we left the place.

Catalunya stands alone in its own pavilion @ One Fullerton. When we step foot inside, we were greeted by a "DB" (:P) host who led us to our table. The bar was located near the entrance and the dining area was a flight of steps on the lower deck.

Great place cos' it was not as quiet as we've thought it would be.

Wanted to order Foie Gras and Eel Escalibada - Grilled vege, foie gras n eel ($20)

but the server highly recommended this special appetizer of the day that she had just food tasting last week and the taste just lingered and she couldn't forget it. eiei…

okokok, give it to us.

So we've had this: 

Foie Gras with Beef and Chicken on a bed of lasagna noodle, topped with cheese and truffles ($30).

awesome…..

 

Another GREAT appetizer we've had is this

Pa Amb Tomaquet - homemade bread topped with tomatoes $10

so refreshing and crispy to the bite yummss

Love the high ceiling and unblocked view of the Singapore River and MBS.

Wanted to have paella but it was only available on Sat and Sun lunch :/

Thought I'll have something light so I can still have some space for dessert.

Suquet De Peix - Grilled Fish with Stewed Potatoes $50

fish was disappointingly dry and kinda over-cooked :(

We had this Lobster Rice - paella $80

It's super tasty and a lil saltish to my palette but still..

delicious :)

Love this, it's like molten/lava cake =)))
