I was really panicky on booking the hotel last Wed before my Thurs departure. Imagine I have less than 20 hours to book my hotel!

Got home and spent almost 4 hours trying all possible search of websites for "Instant Confirmation" booking... asiarooms, asiatravel, and agoda. Was exhilarated when I found the most ideal hotel for my budget & location at agoda. Went thru' the whole booking process to confirm my room but got a shock when I saw the receipt of my booking to be 3-6 JUNE instead of APRIL. DAMN! I clicked on 'APRIL' what!?! Quickly did a chat to resolve the situation with the online agent but was turned down for any refund or cancellation cos my booking is 'guaranteed & no cancellation/refund allowed'.

Called Ad & cried. *sob* Not sad about the $$$... but it's like having search so frantically for a hotel is no fun and being able to find an ideal hotel to book instantly is almost impossible. All I wanted to do was to BOOK fast, then heaven has to play this joke on me that the website doesn't support recent 2 months. It just hurts to see your bubble burst! Now we r left with no hotel! ...

Luckily Jeab called up the hotel & got a good walk-in rate of 1,200bht. Though it was more exp than booking thru' the net, I was more than happy to accept the price! *Tho' I'm not the one paying for it* :)

At least we've got a roof over our head tmr. ^______^
