My 1st X'mas Dinner (12 Dec, Wed)

I had to trace back 2 weeks ago when I was at NTUC Thomson. Strolled long the bakery section and 1st person I thought of is Joyce! Reason? Cos' she's the Pro when it comes to cooking stuff. She's a homemaker lor. Always organise cooking parties in Ace's house or at home. heee.. Suddenly got an urge to make cookie for X'mas... so called her to check which brand of cookie mix is better. BETTY's as guessed :P Told her about my procedure at DRX, catched up a bit and she asked for a X'mas dinner. Oh, how sweet... Thought she was busy all along w her Amway n Ace. :) So Ooooooo Sim ya :P Cool... gonna meet a old buddy!

And so, the day came when we met at Paragon Sushi Tei.

She looked so Tai-Tai now... Curled her hair more (ever since I last saw her on my bday party), in black high heels & a very exec black dress. Hmmm... thought we shared the same taste in dressing up. Good! :D Quite a big transformation from her girl-next-door style w just straight hair, long sleeved shirt w pants. :-) (*should have taken her full pic*)

So we had our plate of Sake Sashimi, 2 handrolls each and 3 plates of sushis to share. Well, was kinda shocked to hear that Ace n her r no longer an item and this news was made only 'official' today! Hmmm... why huh? Nvr asked her. The whole thing started when Joyce mum cautioned her about her future, that, if a relationship is not worth it or bound to lose out, then don't continue it. Guessed she thought a lot about this and got really affected and started to think about her future if she is still w Ace.

She's been with Ace eversince my Padma days.... and that traced back 8+ years ago when I was having attachment in Merchant Court Hotel. Damn FUCKING long. Always told my friends their relationship is like a Marathon. Never ending. 8+ years is a long time to test out a relationship and analyse someone's worth and character. I've seen and heard them break up and patch back for countless times. Somehow, I felt that she got obliged to be with Ace everytime they patch back. But it was no surprise. Somehow, it's all about comfortability and all humans r creatures of habits.

Was q sad to hear it somehow cos' I've seen them grow and gone thru' so much together. However, I felt relieved for her. It's due time to let go... esp. if the relationship deteriotes thru' time. No improvement, getting worse each day and draining one's positive energy, inputting so much of negative ions.

It is time for a New life. I mean, a Normal life. U know what I mean?

Just hope that Ace will not disrupt her life during this period of time that He cannot accept the truth. Well, the truth always hurts and that is a fact. Zhao Zhi Jing Ri, He Bi Dang Chu? ie. If U have known this coming, why isn't anything done?

Talked about other stuff on work, family, friends, etc. So much to catch up eversince like.... 1 yr + ago? Think so...
