Sorry la B... had u waiting up for me to get changed. Dunoe why, just couldn't really get the mood right. I am really temperamental when it comes to choosing clothes. One minute shorts, another minute skirt. Maybe I don't feel good about myself anymore like being HAGGED & FAT! WAHH!!!! I'm 54kg now lor! So I'm really fussy about what I wear now, especially when the "feeling's" not there. Anyway, got into my fav tube & skirt & off we went at 4.30pm ---- to The Central @ Eu Tong Sen!
Slope up the Carpark was really narrow & high (FYI: Valet parking available - no wonder). Got to the 5th storey of the 1st level of parking. Saw an empty lot. Lucky us! Jalan around.... the SC's really big but a lot of shop units were vacant n unoccupied. Was really hungry by then cos' I only ate 1 mini pie in the morning. And so, we settled @ the Pasta De Waraku. It was a casual Jap restaurant. We came across the bus ad last week at Parkway and thought it was interesting enough to give it a try cos' I've got some cut-outs from a magazine too.
So we waited for a seat. It wasn't packed at all but had lotsa reserved tags on the tables. Didn't have a change to talk to the staff about the cut-outs. They seemed busy. Soon, we were ushered to the seat. Anyway, showed to them once we've got the seat but was told it was not valid anymore. Then SOMEONE began to complain about the seat being hot made his thighs sweat, about the place cannot make it, wouldn't pay such price for such food, service sucks, etc... (In my mind was like, HARLOW R U DONE????) Urm... it was just the cut-outs being rejected. So, What's the big Fuss? The more He complained, the more heated up I felt. Then He told me that we should have not dined here, should have went somewhere else, should have went to the Hot Stones, etc. I told B," If you do not fancy eating here, we can always leave...?" but he was like... No way, we were 'SEEN' using the cut-outs now we DIE-DIE have to eat here. DUH? Does that make any sense at all? Yes, only to satisfy something called, EGO. It was kinda too much for me... Just felt kinda sick inside and totally FULL by now. Maybe it was my fault? For being so CHEAPO using the cut-outs? Hey, but can save $$$ and yet try the restaurant what. Not some classy Hi-So restaurants anyway? Anyway I rest my case and this was what we had ordered:
Carbonara Pasta (Oyster & Bacon) $15.50
---Had previously ordered Tofu & Salmon Pasta but salmon was too saltish that I rejected & changed the order.
Meat Pattie on Hot Plate (??? Don't know the name of the dish) $12.80
&
A Side Dish - Prawn Cutlet $8.80 (Pic Not Taken)
& 2 Complimentary Salads (cos' I complained about their food.. hehe)
Make me so HOT almost lose my apetite, still can laugh AH??? Hmph!!!
Well... it was a long meal I supposed. Waited a long time for the food to come. Please do not order the dish I've ordered - The Oyster Bacon Carbonara... cos' it was really too raw and didn't really go well with the cream sauce! Even the Tobasco added was not enough to kill off the smell lingering inside my mouth. I felt like a rubbish dump inside without lemon! Kinda sick taste really... Yucks.. hehe (OK, know what You wana say. "Thought You Can Eat Anything?" Yes, I can... I can even eat Tea Leaves Raw or Indian Curry or $1 Econimic Beehoon without LIAO. If all play suit, I will follow. Anyway those are edible stuff. I am obliging. I really really don't mind. Get it? :> ) I just didn't like the idea of SOMEONE's reaction and logic to that situation.
Well, the total bill mounted to $49... thought that would be a decent amount for a good Jap dinner even at Sushi Tei or SaKae Sushi. Wanted to pay for the meal cos' it was my suggestion but seeing my NOTI boy taking out his wallet, I let him pay. HMPH. :P Well, it's worth a try anyway.
And so, we ended the night with a Hokkaido Green Tea & Red Bean icecream b4 heading home to take clothes to my house... >>> I enjoyed every part of the night... but not the FKG dinner, if not for the Complaints.<<< wahaha! As you were complaining... I was smsing myself not to forget to blog the sentence above. WAHA.. :P Na Ni Na Ni Poo Poo..
