19-21 July : My Bkk Escapade :P

19th July, Thurs
Woke up at 6.45am to prepare to head down to the Airport with B. Did some last min packing with some toiletries and off we went to T1. Felt kinda stoned cos' didn't have enough sleep the night b4. Well, I always do not have enough sleep...my dark rings and eye bags could tell a thousand words and convince anyone who disbelieve in me. ^_^ Reached at 8.20am, was still early for my 10.55am flight. Bid my goodbyes to B cos' he had to rush to the office for his meeting at 9am. "Bye B.. take care I'll be back in a few days time b4 u even realise it. Love u..." :)

Went to the Kopitiam to have some CCF, take 5, toilet then went thru the customs for some DFS shopping & wana get online to chat on the msn. Got myself the Origins Cleanser $29.50 (cheap!!) and a carton of Dunhill $22 (cheap cheap!!). Headed to the Gate for my flight. I was early! Was the 1st batch to get onboard the plane. That gave me the luxury of choosing my seats. ArH.. ^_^ Got acquainted with this German lady sitting beside me called Dani who is on her way to meet her Fiance from Delhi, in Bangkok. This was their 1st trip to Thai. She woke up late and missed her Jetstar morning flight but managed to purchase this last minute 1 way flight from Air Asia at the airport after being rejected by SQ. Lucky her! However, because of this, she was late to meet up with her Fiance in Bangkok by approx. 4 hours. We chatted and I could feel that excitement and anxiety she has thinking she could meet up with her Fiance in a while's time but yet, worried if he would be angry with her missing her flight. She couldn't contact him as his line could not be used overseas. Was planning to sleep and rest but it was more interesting to chat with Dani and share our views and perspectives of cross-cultural & long distance relationships. Upon touching down to Suhvanabhumi, I was really bearing up with the urgency of going to pee. Couldn't take it anymore, must be the Green Tea I had on flight. I rushed to the lavoratory but the stewardess told me to wait a lil' while longer for the plane to come to a halt. Damn. The wait almost killed me. 1 minute seemed like an hour in that time of 'Crisis' as I would call it. After I finished the job, I lost sight of Dani who has left the plane to board the bus.. Hmm.. had not bid my goodbyes yet ley! :p Anyway I caught sight of her in the queue at the customs. Chatted some more and bid our goodbyes at the taxi stand.

Took a 5 b4 I hopped on to the taxi to kickstart with this adventurous trip. This was the 1st time I've come to Thai without someone picking me up from the Airport or being alone. This was really exciting!

Checked into the Trinity Silom myself so I could meet up with Jess at night and Mike the next night. Was kinda disppointed with lobby area and guestroom with the value paid. Good thing was, it was just a stone's throw away from Chong Nonsi BTS station. I like the location though. Called Greg but couldn't get through and Walther called and apologised he couldn;t meet up as was caught up with work, P'amm just got back from France and gg to Phuket at night. Knew these kinda scenarios could turn up. Luckily, I had planned some contingencies. My agenda today was 1st, to go to Chula bookshop to spend a few hours selecting my books. This time was not to get any language books but to get some Music scores. Got two in the end and some stationeries along the way. :> Went shopping a while and got a few good buys. Next was to go over to MBK to get my Hp number and top up cards & most importantly, my mp3s. By then, I was really hungry. Went down to have some Pig's legs rice b4 heading back to rest & freshen up. It began to pour heavily after I got up the train. Had to wait 15mins at Chong Nonsi b4 I could walk back in the light drizzles...

Waited till about 11pm for Jess. Had some trouble coming to the hotel and I had to talk to the taxi driver. He dun wana take instructions and refused to turn out from the small lane until I had to ask the security guard to talk to him. But still, he dropped Jess at the back lane and she had to walked to the entrance herself. lol.. Wanted to bring her out for supper at Soi 38, but didn't go anywhere as she was already quite exhausted by then.

20th July, Fri
Woke up for breakfast with Jess and went to Siam again to do hair at Neo. I did my treatment and she did colour & treatment. Afterwhich we headed down to have lunch. By then, Walther called and he was free to meet up too as he was at Siam. He met us and had a chat & food b4 going to pick Joke up on his way to his next appointment. :) Brought Jess around Siam and Paragon. Bebe on 50%! Calvin Klein 40%! Bought a black Bebe tanktop for only 935bht and a pink spaghetti CK top at only 975bht. VFM! Jess headed back as she has to arrange the itinerary to get to Kanchanaburi the next day morning. I continued to shop until my feet became so tired, I decided to head back too for a rest b4 clubbing. Jess had called for massage in the room while I went down to play internet after getting dressed to party and wait for Mike to arrive. He took a long time to arrive and luckily he didn't have to get dressed or waste more time as Bomb was heading to Victory Monument to pick us all. We had a quick dinner nearby after the Tuktuk ride and headed down to meet Bomb & his friend, Gay, to drive down to Route 66 to meet all his basketball team players and friends for a celebration for their victory versus the rival team. The 2nd level was packed with their own friends. Guess the place was almost filled with 30-40pax of their gang. Alcohol was in abundance... Whiskey, Vodka, u name it all. It was real happening. Bomb apologise to us cos' his friends are drunk by then. It was fun to drink & dance with them cos' they were happily drunk and I had a few bodyguards with me. WAHAHA! :P But after a while, my 2 bodyguards Mike N Jay was really taken down by the alcohol. At one point, Mike was lying on the sofa.. hehe. Guess they drank too fast cos' Bomb kept asked them to DAR with his friends. After closing, Bomb kept insisted to send us back to Silom. He has been a great host. Thanks Bomb! At a point during the ride, I woke up to find myself, Mike & Jay all falling asleep in Bomb's car. HAHA.. Upon reaching the hotel, Jay walked out and puked. Eeww!! :P OOpps.. forgot to take out a few more packs of Cigs b4 passing all to BOMB! Nvr mind la, can give for his great hospitality!

21st July, Sat
Woke up at 10am to find that bfast is already over and Jess is gone! Huhu.. :( Bathed & got dressed and packed up my stuff b4 meeting Mike & Jay for lunch. They were suggesting to go down to Yao Warat for some seafood lunch. Yummy.. I've not been to YaoWarat for a long time to eat already. The last time was with my Mummy.. for some sharksfins n bird's nest. :p Couldn't find the restaurant they always patronise, so settled at this chinese rest. Ordered BBQ Prawns, Baked Salted Fish, Vege, Oyster Egg, Fried Squid... Food was alright.. but not the best I've had. :) Went to Jalan at Sala Daeng b4 I headed back to get my stuff and rush to the airport. Took a cab down to catch my flight at 6.15pm. The queue at the check in counter was fkg LONG. Took almost 45 mins just to get to my turn and had to rush to the gate for boarding. It was fkg mad rush. Grabbed my fav iced coffee at BK gulpped it up b4 I reached the security check point for scanning. Hehe. Cool.. was damned satisfied with the achievement cos' despite of the rush I was the 1st batch again to hop on to the bus ride. keke.. Made some new friends on flight again. This time was Rung & Ian with their daughter, Maya. Cute family. :> Ok, bye guys, hope to see u again... Bb and his family is waiting outside for me :P Aiyo... ;P

Now that I am back at home, I really have enjoyed myself in this trip despite venturing alone for 1 day. hehe.. Met quite a few interesting people in my trip even Jess, my funny and adorable roommate! I think she's a really humble lady and very accommodating to me during my stay. Love ya! :* I had lots of calls from Baby, P'oaew, Iu, Walther & even Joke who is so concerned about my stay this trip making me feel at home here. Must thank my Bb for always being there when I needed him. Without his calls, I would really have been so lovesick... :P Thanks sayang... altho' u don't read my blog... wana tell u this from the bottom of my heart... I love u...& I've been a good girl na! :>
