Eve is finally back from a 'tiring & stressful' trip from Thai! Poor gal... A lil' stressed in the day but settled down by evening time. :P Hmmm... The road is long gal.
Had this great & inexpensive dinner @ Chiang Mai Palace, China Sq Central with Dawn, D's Mum, Eve & moi to celebrate Dawn's bday in advance. Ordered almost a round of their v limited dishes. Mango salad, green curry chicken, Chiang Mai Fried Rice (?... duhs.. like the normal Char Beng), Fried Woon Sen, Fried Tofu, Prawn Cake, Kang Kong & Sambal Prawns ($25 for miserable 5 small prawns.. but we've got it free!!! Haha.. Thanks to our complaint about the miserable portion & freshness. "This isn't what we've wanted". The server gave this for complimentary & was quite apologetic... So kind huh. haha) Nevertheless, service was great (cos' bo lang)... and we've got free dessert too! Mango & Choco Pudding. hehe.. Nice but too full to savour all..
After sending D's mum home, we continued our gossip session @ our fav area, Siglap. This time to Cafe Cartel. Ordered a slice of Oreo Cheesecake & hand written a lil' Bday slip for the Queen of the nite as her advance bday cake while we chat the nite away... Yummie. :>

Have been buds with Dawn since Pri Sch... can u believe it... it has been almost 2 decades. From my puppy love to school to work to now, she's always played a part in my life... Am really grateful to God for giving me such great pals who can really share woes & joy with me eversince they came into my life... Shall wait for her return from Phuket & Norway till end June to S'pore then we shall hang out again w Evelyn. Miss U!
