Jas' birthday celebration...Picked up Zhao & Eve to meet Sarah n Jas @ Mirama Hotel. Thanks to Jas, didn't know there's such an affordable Jap ala carte buffet restaurant in town!
By then I was still quite full. Shouldn't have taken Bee Hoon Goreng for lunch! Hmph!
AnywayZZZ, we were 1st served the complimentary cold appetiser (3 pc of Salmon Sashimi in a sweet n sour sauce).. It was yummy! (I can still recall that taste now that I'm documenting this blog..haha) Sarah said we can keep the sauce for our sashimis later.. hehe.. but we did not. Not much sauce left and of course, no space even to keep that small little bowl by our side. We ordered LOADS of salmon sashimi (SAKE - MY FAV!!!) & cuttlefish, prawn/fish/cuttlefish/pumpkin/mushroom tempura, chawamushi, pork cutlet, grilled fish(my FAV) soba, udon, etc etc.. It was rounds and rounds of food! Didn't know 5 women can eat so much... Then the wait staff got us 2 rounds of complimentary soup dish... Yummm... I was freaking F-U-L-L by then. Our miss dear Zhao has surrendered sooner... While the rest of the gals ordered some more, me n Zhao already ordered our dessert. Green Tea Ice-cream with 'Air-Flown' red beans to share ($6).. HAAA..
The dinner was really 'inexpensive'. C-H-E-A-P!!! $30+++/pax only... If it had been another Jap restaurant even the common Sakae Sushi joints would have costs us more of what we had just ordered. No wonder that restaurant is always full. :)
Celine called earlier so we went to join her n Carol @ Geographer. Quite a nice place. The 3-pc band was playing acoustic then... It was really nice... What I would call a decent band. Really hate those with dancing dollies, skimppily dressed ones, kinda L-C... keke..
Had 2 jugs bourbon coke shared amongst us 5... Chat chat, drink drink, toast toast, games games, photos photos, then chatted for a while b4 sending the 3 bedokians home n heading home... Tired Tired~~~ (-.-)
