Finished my stuff @ Hougang and rushed down to meet them. Was so late so I called FR only to 'break' the dinner venue surprise they wanted to give me cos' of the reservations made at St Regis... LOL. BUT hey, I'm sooo.. freaking underdressed!!!!!!!

Have been quite annoyed by foreigners who have been speaking bad about Singapore and their life here.

"Singapore is so boring"…. "People are unfriendly"…. "My homeland is so much better, people are more fun"…. "Can't wish to get out of here"…

My advise is GET LOST because Singapore doesn't need u suckers to be around. U are wasting our resources EVERY SECOND and polluting the air with your bad breath. How I wish these BUGGERS will leave ASAP and go back to your own country. Remember what you have said about Singapore and please…… do yourself a favor, don't ever come back again to stay. Reality is, they're just here for the money and share no passion or sentiments for our country. I really feel pissed every time I see such posts on their Facebook walls. @+*!

I don't know about others… but for me, though I may not be that patriotic, I guess Sg is still my home, where I grew up and live in. I'm proud of the educational system and the economical successes we have achieved; the sound surroundings; the political state and the multi-racial society. Can u imagine living in a country where we have to live under the blanket or bring a dagger with us round the clock or even worry about your next meal… Though our country may be small with limited places of interest, we are blessed with great choices of food, peaceful homes, great technological infrastructure, efficient transport systems, nice chill out places that are only minutes away… Surely, the grass is always greener on the other side and pasture. It's only human to feel this way. Point is, stop grumbling. GRRrrrr.

So far, I only know of 1 genuine foreigner who truly likes Singapore, the orderly system that we have here, the greeneries, the love for the view on ECP-AYE along MBS and loves staying here =) I'm proud and happy to know that…. and I wish you can stay here forever and I'm very sure everyone of us will be happy to have you with us. I really mean it.

Just realized how much I missed civilization.

Seemed to have lost the skills somehow in socializing (OMG) and I need to pick up some pace to warm up. I mean, I can just sit around without talking to people. Wonder if it's a good or bad thing? I think it's quite bad esp. for me when I'm not like that. So much to be couped at home studying right…. I need social life..

Got upset with Ad for venting his frustrations for not being able to find a parking lot on his car by driving fast.. (I really hate it TTM…I've told him I'd go myself cos I could foresee the carpark would be full and he'll get pissed… but he insisted in picking me up so I have take it. We did talk about it and he told me I need to INSIST that he should not come and not just say it… Like Thank U but No Thanks. Now it became my fault. I would really go mad one day..)… FMLL. OKOK, Ad is still a very nice guy cos' he offered to come pick me up… he's very sweet…. he loves me. :<

People make me Sane… that's a sure thing.

U know I like it slow and steady.... but half way through the journey, the rubber band snapped and I had to let it all down in the wet.

haha... that was what happened when I had my jog just now.

Skipped my morning appt. I was already at the door FHS. Checked myself in the full length mirror at my client's door entrance and to my astonishment, I found a big hole behind my super tight pencil skirt, located strategically 3cm above the slit and 3cm below the back zip. That's a FREAKING CENTRALISED HOLE OF 3-5cm OMFG. All made worse when I have a dozen of files n books on in my hand... which means, I cannot cover the hole.. I had to run back to the car, call him and cxl my appt. Then I realized that this hole could have been present since 8am when I ran frantically 3 storeys up my office to clock in at 8am?!.... Braced to the nearest petrol station's toilet, turned the 'hole' & slit to the side... and went for another appointment which I can't afford not to go.... Afterwhich, I ended up at my tailor for SOS, that's why I'm in shorts while waiting for my skirt to be wearable again.

So.... embarrassing lors. T_T

Last culture lesson

The lesson went on and the last part was an informal session on 'Getting the Right Job' which really got me kinda excited... think I was the most responsive today cos' I fired at least 3 questions and she was like 'oh... that's a very good question'! Felt a bit sad when she ended the class cos' this was her last lesson.... which means my school days are numbered. Sigh...just last 3 lessons from Marketing. T_T I'm really going to miss attending classes and the good feeling I get each time I learn a new thing :( I'm not exactly her ardent fan cos' she can be quite intimidating when she lectures at times... and quite an extreme... the fact that she goes through the extra mile to 'savage' the class with her extra notes, materials, power points, extra lessons, prompt email replies at her own accord shows her passion and that initiativeness which I truly admire...

Stayed on till I'm the last to go.

She's quite surprised that I've actually waited for her to have a photo taken together.... lol... and we stayed on to chat a bit more on my career path to take. I'm glad she gave me quite an insight... and the last thing she told me put an extra weight on my shoulder.... it's gonna be tough to fare well in this assignment cos' I'm handling quite a hard nut to crack here but "Ok, I'll try"....

Hey.... I'm short-sighted officially -75 LR. DAMMIT :(

Just finished watching the korean music awards on TV, live in Singapore, so kewl. HOTTTT is the word... and it's my first ever close encounter with korean songs.... this amount of korean pop songs i mean. Their songs are all power-packed and made to be played on the dance floor. Very POP indeed, group is 'IN' and their dance steps are thumbs up. The singers are perfect looking..... great legs, boobs, figure, FACE. I could easily identify rhinoplasty (nose jobs), chin jobs, eyes, breast, cheek implants lol.... yes, even the guys. But u've gotta give it to them, they're such eye-candies.... we can't resist having more.

1 singer from China got me quite excited tho'. She's Jane Zhang Liang Ying. Not those typical cheena M-I-C singer. She's not the super-pretty type... but i like how she sounds... Got the MV below for ya :)

Ah.... I was at Terminal 1 one fateful day to send my Mummy dearest for her flight to Penang. LOOK at the freaking Air Asia queue. Horrible.

After sending her... i treated myself to a breakfast I've always wanted to try. Didn't fail me. Good job, Twister.

Many a morning, Mum will make this for me. :) Kind of sick of it now actually. So i'll alternate myself with half boiled egg & vege.. I'll usually only pick out n eat the broccoli :p

Happy to feel good back in the gym, along ECP tracks, Macritchie reservoir on my Nike & K2. I've definitely put on some muscles on my thighs n arms now... Weight's kinda stable, hasn't really dropped a bit but it's on a normal range... BMI is 19.6 (normal is 18.5-24.9).

Our 1st high-tea together was supposed to be a chichi-tai tai affair.. lol

In the end, we fixed on Marmalade @ Ion but it was so freaking packed. So I suggested we walk a lil to Wisma for Coffee Stars by Dao.

Seems like Eve has got a lot of things to tell Jas... and so Dawn moved over to sit with me so we could chat... and congrats to the Mummy-to-be ! (Just knew a few days ago Eve's dragon baby is gonna be a boy and due end April '2012... She's the next after Sarah.. wonder who will follow. Jas / Dawn ;0

I know.

This may sound ridiculous but I am this serious when it comes to school work. People may take 1 day but I will take 3 days to complete a simple paragraph... Friends call me a perfectionist, I guess I am... this is like the only chance I'm giving myself to study. I'm this dead serious u know? I've already depleted 13k from my this year's savings.... I just don't want to look back 10 years later and regret not putting in effort now. I'm always trying my best in whatever I do, work, relationship, friends... U know what's the difference of all these versus my studies???

People disappoint me. When I put in my best and they don't appreciate my efforts, I get jilted.... but when I put in my best in school work and get my results slip, my efforts more often than not, will pay off.

Time + Effort = Scores

This doesn't happen to me in human relationships... cos' they'll either take me for granted or be with me for an agenda. Luckily now, I've changed my life to 3 philosophies which I truly stick with

1. Give because you want to not because someone else loves you.

2. Enjoy life today for tomorrow is gone and tomorrow may never come.

3. Life is too short to be bullied. Speak your mind and do not be afraid.

This should be my 5th time watching a large-scale concert!

My 1st was with the ditches watching some 80's concert... RIGHT??

My 2nd was with my client @ Esplanade (Forgot which singer cos I left half-way and left him all alone! :X)

My 3rd was with Ad @ Indoor Stadium for Gary's concert.

My 4th was with my GM mates @ Bangkok's ind. stadium for Bodyslam :) BEST!

Super excited...

Went to watch with Ad... I was super excited about the concert... I even went to buy a necklace in the afternoon to match my black Tube Romper... wanted to take a pic of myself in the crowd, only to hear some rantings "huh...again?"... Seriously a smile can't be forced, so efff-yeet...

Enjoyed myself :) Honestly speaking, I'm not a fan of concerts... It's kinda expensive and can only last me 2-3hours. lol... Just felt if I would wana enjoy myself, I'd go for the mid-best class range seats, that'll easily cost me $150 bucks. The best & cheapest I went was Bodyslam's Save My Life concert in Bkk. We were dancing by our seats then :) Hope Celine continues to be in the music industry so she can pass some tics to me again. ^^

To me, their wedding seems magical not only by the perfect royal images.. but cos' this Bhutan's young King could break its monarchy's practice of marrying "sisters within the family" to mary a commoner who he had affiliations with since he was 17 and she was 7. He even announced and pledged his promise to stay faithful to her for the rest of their lives. In a country with such rich Buddhism culture, no openly displayed public affections, restricted foreign influences & the impact of globalisation reigning in "National Happiness" has the King openly held his Queen's hand and kissed publicy. He's not afraid to show the world his love for his wife and to me, this act of true love is beyond words. It's truly amazing. It is of no doubt that all Bhutanese loves the King!

PUNAKHA, Bhutan: Bhutan's hugely popular king married a 21-year-old student on Thursday in a colourful ceremony showcasing the rich Buddhist culture of one of the world's most remote and insular countries.

The Bhutanese royal family are credited with bringing stability to the formerly war-wracked nation and ensuring its independence despite giant neighbours India and China to the north and south.

Bhutan, which has never been colonised, remained in self-imposed isolation for centuries and is still wary of outside influence and the impact of globalisation.

The country had no roads or currency until the 1960s and continues to resist mass tourism to this day. Foreign tourists are encouraged to travel in groups with official guides and pay fees of up to US$200 a day.

Amid clouds of incense and chanting monks, the 31-year-old King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck crowned his queen at the end of a series of rituals in the 17th-century fortified monastery chosen for the occasion.

After a brief purification ceremony to start, they walked hand-in-hand and smiling to the inner sanctum of the monastery where an hour of blessings, prostrations and prayers culminated in the queen taking the throne.

The "Dragon King", an Oxford graduate who came to power in 2008 at the start of democracy in Bhutan, married Jetsun Pema, the daughter of an airline pilot widely admired for her beauty and her impact on the love-struck monarch.

The king, the fifth in a line of hereditary rulers who have reigned for the last 100 years, was in a relaxed mood when he spoke to a small group of reporters during one of his trademark walk-arounds after lunch.

"I am happy. I have been waiting for quite some time. It doesn't matter when you get married as long as it is the right person," he said.

"I am certain I have married the right person," he added.

The royal couple apparently first met aged 17 and seven at a family picnic in Thimphu. Pema, though described in Bhutan as a commoner, has links to the first family through her parents.

The new queen, who often looked nervous as the heavily symbolic ceremony unfolded, wore an elaborately weaved outfit of gold, red and black.

She smiled anxiously as she received the crown. Her husband initially struggled to secure the embroidered headpiece which slipped off her hair several times before finally staying put.

"She carried her responsibilities superbly well. I was very proud of her," the king said. "She is a wonderful human being. Intelligent. She and I share one big thing in common: a love and passion for art."

"From the day the king announced his wedding we have been excited," lawmaker Jagar Dorji told AFP as he arrived at the monastery, set at the confluence of two rivers and surrounded by mist-shrouded hills.

"This marriage assures the continuity of the royal family."

Proceedings were beamed live across the country of 700,000 people and signalled the start of three days of joyful celebrations, with dancing, singing and drinking in towns and villages.

Bhutan banned foreign television until 1999 and is the only nation in the world whose government pursues "Gross National Happiness" for its people instead of economic growth.

"You can be sure that our happiness is increasing," joked Karma Tshiteem, the head of the Gross National Happiness Commission, which vets government policy to ensure it increases the mental well-being of citizens.

"It's a big day for all Bhutanese," said 32-year-old housewife Tshering Lhamo in the capital Thimphu. "Everyone loves the king and for my generation we have never seen a royal wedding before."

Nomads, who roam for most of the year with their animals in the upper reaches of the mountains, came down to the valley to join in the festivities, with others who lined the roads as the royal couple arrived early on Thursday.

Security was tight, with phone networks jammed and police enforcing strict controls on vehicles in a wide area surrounding the monastery.

On Monday, two small bombs went off in a town on the border with India injuring four people, in attacks claimed by an insurgent group based in Nepal fighting for the rights of ethnic Nepalese in Bhutan.

The king, who is known to invite his subjects round for tea, had requested a simple and traditional ceremony. No foreign VIPs or fellow royals were among the assembled dignitaries and friends of the couple.

Few people know much about their new queen, save for some details about her competitiveness on the basketball court, her tender age and her striking looks.

Yiwang Pindarica, one of the king's cousins, who studied with Pema, said the new queen was "very sweet and caring and she loves children".

"I'm sure she will help the king fulfil his duties," she said.

The announcement of the nuptials in May broke the hearts of the monarch's many admirers. The "prince charming of the Himalayas" was once mobbed on a trip to Thailand by weeping teenagers on one of his rare official foreign trips.

At a closer look at our features, I think we don't look alike.

Cos' when I'm introduced to my mum's customers n friends, their reactions were always "HUH? Your daughter?" (It can only mean.... HUH your daughter doesn't look like u... or.... HUH your daughter is 'not pretty') which is more true?

Actually these two pics don't do much justice to my mum's looks!

She's got much sharper nose, bigger eyes than mine at my age.

Which means......

I will age not as pretty as her now? LOL but I'm much much much more vain than her (EVERYONE AGREES), so I should not look bad when I grow old.... HOPE SO....

Sometimes I complain to my mum about her dressing, the way she carries herself now... very auntie.... lol... She was my Angel and role model. I used to enjoy watching her dress up, apply her lipstick, draw her brows and blusher, blow & style her hair before she heads for work and drops me off in church...

She always retaliate by saying she's not like before... she doesn't need to makeup now to meet clients and she's getting old, no one to attract.... lol.... Though she isn't as radiant and elegant as before, I know and have seen her best side in those days and that will never fade away from my memories... :) FYI: Mum used to be a dancer for Jap association when young and was the 'school flower', don't play play.... If she would have opened her eyes a lil' bigger, she'd have married off to a wealthy family cos' her pursuers were all v rich and stable and not have chosen the most handsome in the league but xxxxx D*. LIFE..... isn't fair but is great if we know how to make the best out of it and enjoy to the max.

Heck care those who don't really matter and never contributed to your life. They don't know you a single bit and whatever is their comment, it weighs -ZERO and should be disregarded.... For those who matter, give respect to whatever they say but beware cos' there are bound to be some who you thought would care, but in the end disappoint you, cos' they would be always putting you down, be the least encouraging and the most eager to take advantage of you. They are morons, so just give them a SMILE and move on to the next on the list. Pareto's theory says it's the 20% that makes up your 80%. I swear by this & I love Dr. Lim, my SCM lec :)

FYI: This line of trees in between highways are super dangerous....... there are uncovered drains and should a vehicle skid n land into the drains, the consequence will be devasting, esp. when there's flood.... P.S: Highway means travelling @ higher speed

Was just discussing the situation with my client ytd.... he told me of all the negative health effects that would greatly affect the people....

- dirt from the ground will be lifted by the water (he told me about the dungs of animals from farms or on the streets... omg..)

- imagine those worms, snakes and bugs struggling to survive will all be floating/wriggling on water

- animals (cats, dogs, pigs, chicken, RATS) that didn't survive the flood could die under water... carcasses bloat and rot... water carries the bacteria/germs all around

- PEE & POO of people in the water.

- MOSQUITOES breed.

- EPIDEMIC outbreaks.

- CROPS die a natural death.

- SICK gets more sick as they do not have sufficient medical support/access to help.

- DEAD will be unknown as electrical / telecommunication infrastructure shuts off.

- POOR gets poorer without jobs.

- RICH gets poorer too at the failing economy.

- COUNTRY gets poorer at the high cost of recovery & devasted economy.

- DESPARATION incubates, leading to more social implications.

- TRAVELLERS to Thai are more @ risk too.

Count ouryself lucky to still have purified water to drink (even tho the cup has lipstick/coffee stains sometimes), a roof over our head (even if the room is always messy), rice to eat (even tho' I prefer to eat mee sua), car to drive (even if it's not a super car that costs over $150,000) and internet connection to satisfy all your social network cravings (even tho' some are still using a BB that switches OFF anytime it likes and sometimes the battery runs out like nobody's business).

@ the same shop I frequent, cos' the waiting won't be too long.. waiting for my nails to be "frenched". I'm not really into nail art as much now... so a French is good enough and its helluva cheap only 100 baht (about SGD$4) per set of hands/feet.. I did both . WAHS :)

KP didn't know which restaurant she was talking about in Siam Sq actually... but being the Siam-GURU (lol), I knew it was 90% this one.... 10% could be Ban Khun Mae (but her boss told him there's a long queue so can't be BKM).. HOLA! Didn't order the Gai Tot cos KP is kinda health conscious... I'm so gonna order 2 rounds of that the next time. As if.... :p

While waiting for KP in his fav boutique - 5cm.

Super hungry by now and I can't wait to tuck myself with lots snacks from Paragon's basement Food Mall... love the หมูย่างสะเต๊ะ (grilled pork satay - I must eat at least 2! no....5 the next time.. so damn FARKING AROI) and ไขปลาหมึก (Squid Egg - introduced by J!) It's a food paradise to me... just these few snacks could make me darn happy for the day... Not forgetting, my ditches' favourite Krispy Kreme!!!!

Went for a full body scrub~ cos' I can't take the tickles during massages... lousy :/ bleh.

This was my virgin body scrub. :0

I seriously did not know what to expect out of it.....

I had to go for a quick shower, strip naked and put on a disposable panty.... then asked to lie with my face down... and let the body scrub begin... Then I had to turn around for the front to be scrubbed and I was both shocked and shy to have my "UP THERE" scrubbed as well. F* I could feel my face blush at that instant..... but she didn't touch "the button" thank God (Looking @ Angel1.. tune the lay leo please! ) ...

The scrub accompanied by mild massages, together with the spa music, the scrubbing movements, room scent led me into another horizon which I've never been before... Damn nice & holistic :) I would def go for more next time...

So, I had to go for another bath... and be naked again for a round of treatment to moisturize my body... Seriously I would wish they could allow me in a bikini top rather than exposing my cups.... felt so bloody vulnerable. ARGH...

My eyes couldn't take the light after the session...

But can u imagine my joy GALS? :)

Brought KP to a night market @ Huay Kwang for supper & more shopping.

A Silent Prayer

Would like to take sometime off from continuing with my Bangkok Trip updates...

My uncle G. (Mum's youngest sis' hubby) passed away on Thursday morning, 6 Oct, leaving behind his virtuous wife and two loving children. I was really shocked to hear of this news as we were ignorant of any illness that could hit him. Mum called me and prewarned she's got a bad news. Her tone was solemn and I knew it would gonna hit me. Uncle G. was someone with little words and speaks with wisdom. I have never really talked much to him during family gatherings as in our (extended) family, we were more taken care of like kids... such that we would have 'kids' table separated from the 'adults' table. In my impressions, he was a loving & responsible father, a workaholic who toiled all his 24hours in his business empire and also, a heavy smoker who could 'challenge' my late Ah Gong if there was such a competition. :')

Coincidentally, founder and creater of Apple, Steve Jobs, has also died on the same date from pancreatic cancer and created a storm for a new term 'iSad'.

Both men's empire would be greatly challenged by their business competitors who are probably smiling at the news of their deaths, strategizing on ways to snatch their customers away or inject some venom to poison their businesses... This is life and I hope their business would take on and survive these challenges, and be better.

We shall not mourn in grief but take a day to honour these great men.

It was actually a trip for reunion....

1st FR couldn't go...

and then bb too cos' of his 'short-of-breath' symptom that could pose quite a prob if he's on flight-phobia and grumpiness due to the conditions in Thai... left the decision to him... as he was still breathless in the morning, bb had to give up on the trip. Ok la, it's so unworthy to take the risk too... Thank u for sending me bb.... :)

So this shall be me & KP's virgin trip together :)

I think the stewardesses were really pleasant-looking, some pretty ones too and smiley (SOOOO much better than SQ's, esp. 90% of the older SQ stewardesses who DO NOT BOTHER to even smile. Yucks... unfriendliness makes them somewhat ugly.)

I didn't inform much of my friends in Thai for my trip cos' I didn't wanna tell too many and end up not being able to meet them. My agenda was only to eat, shop & see Wing & Kerng. BUT I'm excited now cos' I could meet up with the gals when Iu texted me last minute on FB ^^...

KP pleaded for my agreement to take the Airport Link express train.. and so we did & ended up @ Makkasan where we split to run errands. Met E-Nang-M finally to pass him his TV.

And so, our MBS mgr injured his ankle & thumb while playing soccer on Sat night and was in so much pain throughout the night n morning T_T... BB blamed his lack of exercise and thus, the non-agility in the tackles. Hmm.. that plus warm up makes sense. Mummy recommended this Chinese Orthopedic she always frequent (skillful but kinda cheong hey).

Introducing... Ah Huat (师夫) My mum is really something.... I called up Ah Huat but he wasn't around, so Mum called him on his HP and he told Mum he'll rush back "now"... Kudos.....

With a wooden stick like that of a catapult + another thick wooden stick + medicinal ointment, he slides the stick along bb's leg repeatedly to ease the blocked veins n vessels..

Highly Recommended by Ah Huat....

This is good 'travel kit' for weak bowels/diarrhea/food poisoning.

Another recommendation said to be super effective for Coughs & Irritable Throats

Though after the treatment, BB was healed immediately of 40% of the pain and walking ability, Matthew advised him to go for further diagnosis since he's insured for accidents. For that, bb was warded 2 days @ Mt. Alvernia (Yay! My birth place! ^^) in room 424A after doing his ECG which was tested to be fine. However, MRI reported that he's got a torn ligament and required an operation to fix it back, otherwise, just have to be extra careful with his steps. YEP, IT WAS dat se-ri-ous.

Just when I am about to LS in my blog, my bluetooth, emails + pics transfer all failed me... BEST .

Starts today! 27 Sep - 6 Oct (Some started yesterday though cos' it's gonna be 9 days and 9 nights of เจ)

Here are the ten rules:
1. Keep your body clean during the nine days of the festival
2. Use special kitchen utensils that have never been used to prepare and cook meat
3. Wear white or yellow during the festival
4. Make your mind pure and mentally calm
5. Do not eat meat or animal products such as milk and butter, and strong smelling ingredients such as garlic and onion
6. No sex
7. No alcoholic drinks or tobacco
8. People who are mourning should not attend the festival
9. Pregnant ladies should not attend any of the ceremonies
10. Ladies who are having a period should not attend any of the ceremonies

*Some are so hard to follow. Let's try?

Peperoni Pizzaria, Binjai Park

Was a day to visit B's relative's GCB (Good Class Bungalow) near Holland.... didn't go ahead eventually cos' he didn't inform me it was Alex's birthday... but i was in ALL Black (Full black top, full black skirt, black shoes, black bangles and even black earrings). I'm kinda particular when it comes to celebrations like this... I would have worn my pink top, etc and less of black.... :/

Actually I thought of something more relaxing, like satay/stingray at Newton Circus.... Anyway went ahead with the driver cos he wanted me to try Peperoni Pizza at Greenwood but the outlet was so freaking full... so B brought me to their branch at Binjai Park instead :) Thanks Darren for the note!

We ordered the medium seafood pizza :) It was really good... In fact, I must admit this is one of the best pizza I've ever eaten. :)

Arrabiata Pasta was awesome by itself without any meat! I'm surprised with the al dente quality and the yummy sauce :9

But hey, the service SUCKED big time.

The host was unfriendly (not smiley) and rejected us bluntly when we asked for an indoor seat with a 'take-it-or-leave-it' attitude. HARLOW? Les Amis group???? My foot. I didn't even see 1 smiley staff who was eager to be of service or when taking our orders. Hey c'mon, I think even if your food is great, u'll piss off lots of guests with such an uncalled-for attitude cos' we're not here to beg u for food in the first place.

I'd return for the food with other friends to try but I think if the next time I am given some bad attitude, I'll not be very nice anymore.

This will NOT be my recommended place to chill out cos' the outdoor seats are damn uncomfortable (those hard plastic/metal ones).

Food: 8/10 (only thing nice here!)

Price: 7/10

Service: 3/10 (sucks)

Ambience: 3/10 (nothing to shout about, indoor air-con is not cold, seats are damn hard, no fans outdoor, so it can be pretty warm, for indoor seats, better make reservations)

Bro introduced this to me when he bought some back last year....
Ever since then, I've bought on 2 occasions myself but GOD KNOWS WHY... The queue became bloody LONG this year and I was 'turned away' by the wait the last 2 times I was here to get the bean curd.

Came here alone cos' I was waiting for the Ditches who was late again for our weekend ritual :\
And luckily I waited here cos' I wouldn't wana walk in Orchard while waiting for them on a Saturday night... So sad lor!!! Anyway I was the 38th in the queue at 6.30pm. I wonder how long I've got to wait.... I tot of leaving once the Ditches could meet me.

FYI: this pic was taken when my turn was next and see! I FKG waited for 1 and a half hour.... and finally got to buy my stuff at 8pm.

There were only approx. 40 left and the queue behind me was simultaneously farking long as well. What would u do? How many would u buy????? I ordered 20tubs. means.... only 20 left... oops~

This auntie in black (looking at me) gave up after queuing for 10min... :) Thank U ah..

Wanted to walk to Ion... but the rain was about to pour so we settled for lunch @ Ippudo, Mandarin Gallery, cos' I've always wanted to try. Have heard good and bad reviews so far so it's better for me to collect my own verdict.

The menu was pretty comprehensive the different soup bases and ingredients. It was great cos we could order the darnness of the ramen - hard, medium, soft. Chose the soft, of cos' as it's in the soup and could promote easy digestion! :)

I ordered the SPICY MISO TONKOTSU :) Forgot what J ordered already :/

Wanna try the AKAMARU CASHU the next time :)

His came 1st.... so unfair cos' I'm FREAKING hungry..... Was damn good.... :9

Then mine came.... I was overwhelmed. Still I couldn't finish the whole bowl....

So I got help :)
